Partner Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Product Engineer to own features from idea to release, balancing frontend with backend work in a fast-growing AI environment. You’ll work directly with the founder to shape the product and users.

You’ll use Next.js on the frontend and Django with PostgreSQL on the backend, build polished UX, integrate AI model APIs, ensure scale, and explore 3D workflows. This remote role offers autonomy and impactful decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping web products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js for frontend development and Django with PostgreSQL for backend development.
• Practical experience managing servers and Linux environments.
• Strong product sense and attention to UX/UI quality.
• Ownership of products used by real customers in startup contexts is ideal.
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
• Strong AI literacy and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies and practical application opportunities.
• Experience with 3D models or 3D workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own product features from initial idea through design, implementation, and release.
• Build polished, intuitive user interfaces using Next.js.
• Develop and maintain backend functionality with Django and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate third-party AI model APIs and bring AI capabilities to product experiences.
• Maintain servers and platform reliability with high user data volumes.
• Keep UX/UI quality high with attention to interactions and visuals.
• Learn and contribute to the product’s 3D workflows and pipelines.
• Identify opportunities for new features based on user needs.
• Use AI-powered coding tools to boost productivity while maintaining quality.
