Job summary

Adclear in London is seeking a full-stack product engineer who owns end-to-end features from spec to live product. You’ll ship in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment, with frontend-first delivery and backend/integration where needed.

You’ll work with TypeScript, React, Node.js and Postgres, building live workflows and reviewer UIs, plus an integration surface across Canva, Google Docs, and other tools. The role includes equity, private healthcare, a hardware budget, and a monthly gym

About Adclear

At Adclear, we're building the trust layer for how the world's most regulated companies bring products to market. Every bank, lender and investment platform runs into the same invisible pain: compliance review that slows down every campaign, every launch, every idea. We're turning the function that has always said 'no' into infrastructure that says 'yes, and here's how'.

This is a fundamental shift in how regulated industries and compliance teams operate, and we're only at the beginning. The product you'll design is what people actually touch when they experience that shift.

Founded in 2024, we've already earned the trust of leading innovators as well as established enterprises including Monzo, Lloyds, PensionBee, Kraken, Coinbase and many others. Our early traction let us raise 2.6m in funding, and we're now scaling fast. We're building the product engine that turns a genuinely novel category into something people love to use, and this is where you come in.

The Role

This is a full-stack product role with real scope: you won't be handed a corner of a system, you'll own complete product slices end-to-end, from spec through to something live that customers depend on every day. Here's a taste of what that looks like in practice:

• A Chrome extension that runs compliance checks inline in Google Docs, where marketers actually write copy. Built with Monzo as the design partner. Public on the Chrome Web Store.

• A natural-language copilot for compliance work. Users ask in plain English, the platform proposes typed actions, a human approves, the action runs. Not chat over a database.

• The interface where reviewers watch the model reason through a decision, step in when they disagree, and feed structured corrections back into the rules.

• An integration surface that reaches into wherever customers create marketing: Canva, Figma, Google Docs, Contentful, Workfront, Monday.com for video.

• A dashboard that takes a long, unsorted list of compliance tasks and turns it into a single prioritised queue.

You think in user outcomes and shipped work, not tickets closed. Your code handles edge cases, your APIs have clean contracts, and the work you ship stays shipped. Our users are compliance and marketing teams at leading fintechs. They use Adclear every day, and they'll tell you fast when something's wrong, which is exactly the kind of feedback loop that makes this job good.

What you'll do

• Own product delivery. Take features from spec to production, frontend-first but covering backend and integration where needed.

• Build the product surfaces compliance reviewers live in: workflows, review UIs, the moments where model output meets human judgement.

• Work with AI in the critical path. Ship features where the model is genuinely part of the product, not a bolted-on feature.

• Ship a change to production on your first day and a feature in your first week. We deploy continuously, so you'll feel the pace immediately.

• Have real input on what we build, how we build it, and which problems are worth solving next. Nobody here is precious about a roadmap someone else wrote.

What we’re looking for

• Independent delivery. You can own and ship end-to-end product slices with minimal supervision. Your track record shows features that shipped, stuck, and solved real user problems.

• Product trade-off judgement. You balance speed, quality and user impact under ambiguity. You push back when something is underspecified, and make pragmatic calls when it needs to ship anyway.

• Product taste. You notice when something feels wrong and aren’t afraid to raise it. You care about the smaller details while still knowing when to ship at pace.

• Cross-functional pragmatism. You work effectively with founders, designers and AI engineers, and you unblock yourself rather than waiting on someone else.

• AI literacy. You’re fluent with modern coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, agents). You treat them as collaborators, know when to trust them and when to override them, and have real opinions about where they help and where they get in the way.

Strong technical depth in:

• Strong TypeScript and React. Comfortable end-to-end.

• Building products where AI is in the critical path.

• Modern web tooling. Node, Postgres.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare Workers, Hono, or Drizzle.

• Experience in regulated industries: fintech, healthtech, legaltech.

The Stack

React and TypeScript on the frontend. A Hono API on Cloudflare Workers. Drizzle and Postgres on the data layer.

How we work

• Location in London (4 days a week in our Farringdon office)

• Founders are closely involved in the day-to-day.

• You talk to customers, you input your expertise on the strategy and execute it with our vision in mind

• You own what you ship, including after it's shipped.

• This isn’t the right role if you want tightly scoped tickets, a fixed lane, or a strict 40-hour week. The pace is fast and the scope moves.
