Job summary

AliveDx in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Product Development Scientist to join the Alba Product Development & Support team at our ARC site near Penicuik, EH26 0BF. This full-time, 37.5-hour per week role leads design and development projects and ensures rigorous documentation to meet regulatory standards.

You will record, analyse and interpret complex investigations, collaborate with the Principal Scientist and Department Leader, and drive projects to completion within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated laboratory/environment (medical devices, pharma).
• Experience in assay development and optimisation.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and organisation of key work packages to meet timelines.
• Independently execute testing to high standards.
• Record and analyse complex investigations with department lead.
• Ensure design control documentation and files meet requirements.
• Prepare and review documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Participate in project team meetings and present data to stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing training and assessments.
