Qualifications

• Must be a trained chef to a senior level.
• Experience developing recipes for a manufacturing business.
• Passion and interest in food.
• Computer literate.
• Comfortable with handling and tasting all types of food.

Responsibilities

• Write, cook and present new product recipes in preparation for management approval.
• Tweak and fine-tune products to meet business needs.
• Research and develop new product concepts relevant to the business needs.
• Communicate tweaks in recipes for management decisions on product viability.
• Benchmark existing products against competitors' alternatives.
• Value engineer current products for a market-driven demand.
