Job description
Overview

At GWI we’re always looking for extraordinary people who thrive on making an extraordinary impact. Right now we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer for Platform (Admin) to play a key role in our Product team in London. If that’s you, and making a difference gets you out of bed in the morning, keep reading. It could be the start of something, well, extraordinary.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As our senior product designer for platform (admin) youwill own the end-to-end design of our internal and external user management tools, shaping seamless, scalable, and intuitive experiences that empower both administrators and end-users. Collaborating with the design leadership, this role defines and leads the design delivery, from research and ideation to prototyping, experimentation, and user testing. This is a high-impact role for a designer who is deeply customer-focused and knows how to deliver elegant user management solutions at scale.

Working within an Agile, cross-functional squad, the Senior Product Designer partners with product, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver seamless and impactful user journeys. Responsibilities include planning and evaluating design experiments, evolving the design system for scalability, and continuously iterating based on user feedback and performance data.

The Senior Product Designer at GWI is enthusiastic about how AI can transform the way we work, from adopting new tools to refining processes that enhance efficiency and craft. Additionally, they guide and mentor other designers, raising the quality standards of the team's work. They also contribute to GWI’s broader design culture by sharing insights and promoting best practices.

It’s also fun; shaking things up is what working for a growing company is all about. So you’ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment as we grow.

What do I need to bring with me?

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. Here’s what the team will be looking for:

Hands-on experience with designing and leading the user-centered delivery of User Management / Admin experiences that drive user engagement and retention

Strong expertise in UX/UI design, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design.

A proactive, collaborative mindset: You value the relationship between design, engineering, product, and data and are eager to work with cross-functional teams to drive results.

Experience conductingUX research and usability testing, interpreting both qualitative and quantitative feedback to inform and refine your designs.

You'll have a passion for understanding user needs and using the insights to deliver value for our users incrementally.

Proficiency with design tools like Figma, FigJam, and Jira, with experience contributing to design systems for scalable platforms.

A problem-solving mindset, with a passion for simplifying the complex, combined with the ability to make data-informed decisions, iteratively improving user experiences while meeting business objectives.

Experience designing for market research platforms or large data-gathering organizations is a plus, with bonus points for proficiency in prototyping and data visualization.

Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, exemplified by our leadership team, and they’re a big part of what we’re looking for in you.
