About Midnight:

IOG's Midnight Tribe is a provider and core contributor to the Midnight Network, a blockchain platform for developing decentralized applications that safeguard data. The Midnight Network offers programmable data isolation using zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs, enabling selective disclosure and helping developers meet regulatory requirements.

What the role involves:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will advocate for customers and users, understanding their perspectives and translating these into the context of Midnight. Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Managers, and the Developer Relations team to shape user experiences that foster adoption. This role reports to the Head of Product.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, user needs, and business goals.
• Apply design frameworks and work on their elicitation and implementation.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Stay updated on UX, service design, and blockchain trends.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize concepts.
• Develop user flows and information architecture for seamless navigation.
• Design user journeys aligned with business models and tokenomics.
• Work with architecture and engineering teams to implement designs.
• Develop user documentation for blockchain products.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in design.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and share knowledge.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in UX or related fields.
• At least 7 years’ experience as a UX or service designer, preferably in blockchain or SaaS.
• Strong portfolio of complex user journey projects.
• Experience working with diverse partners and stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Proficient in design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with user research and analysis.
• Strategic and commercially aware mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create intuitive and seamless user experiences.
• Knowledge of information architecture and service design.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Stay informed on market trends and user needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly designs.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments and new technologies.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
