Job summary

Chase UK is seeking a Senior/Lead Product Designer to shape user experiences across mobile and web. You will work with designers, technologists, and business experts to deliver customer-focused solutions, guided by business goals and user data.

You will create concepts, journeys, and UI details, build prototypes, and contribute to design systems while collaborating with engineering to ship the product.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering UX/UI across mobile and web platforms.
• Strong UX process portfolio with wires, flows and user research.

• Clear communication of design solutions across roles.

As a Senior Product Designer in our team, you will leverage the latest technologies and best industry practices to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions. You will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team of designers, technologists, and business experts to create new customer-focused products and services. You will have a clear understanding of the business promoters behind the product goals and use customer insights and data to inform the user experience. You will create and deliver high-quality design outcomes like concepts, user journeys, wireframes, UI flows, and detailed UI design. You will create interactive prototypes and participate in usability research to iterate and refine your designs. You will collaborate with design team members and other stakeholders to identify new opportunities and design that creates value for our customers. You will proactively contribute to design systems and other design toolkits, ensuring deliverables are consistent with the design systems. You will collaborate with engineering and product development teams in delivering the final product. You will estimate and plan your own work and help with prioritization. You will present design and communicate work to team members and stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Experience with UX and UI responsibilities across multiple devices and platforms in mobile & web customer-focused applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX processes, such as process flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, user research, usability testing, and other deliverables
• Ability to synthesise complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs and data
• Effective communication of design solutions across roles & levels
• Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies, and their application and relevance to digital experiences
• Proven understanding of mobile application design and screen development
• Prototyping skills across a variety of mediums and needs: on paper, in Principle, and other digital methods
• Proficiency with modern design systems, prototyping software and design tools (we use Figma)
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent professional experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Expert knowledge in the iOS and Android platforms is a plus
• Experience in the Atlassian suite of software(Jira & Confluence) is desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively, shape inclusive and growth oriented culture and adapt to evolving stages of the business
• Ability for independent decision-making as well as taking direction and work as a part of a team
• Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team
