We're seeking a Product Designer to become a member of our Design team. You'll be responsible for owning and developing an entire product area focused on collaboration inside Productboard, the product.

You will play a role in driving both design and execution to stay ahead of our competition. The capabilities we deliver and the set of use cases we solve for have never been fully addressed by any software product before, meaning you must be prepared for the uncertainty and excitement of operating at the forefront of innovation in our space.

Our product is driven by a strong product-led motion, and you will be among people who understand the challenges of simplifying complexity without compromising functionality for large enterprises.

You’ll join a team of less than 10 designers spanning across North America and Europe, and get the support of some of the best people in the industry, like our product design advisor Joshua Goldenberg.

You'll work within an empowered product team that combines the strengths of designers, engineers, and product managers, so you’ll experience the power of cross-functional collaboration every day.

Your responsibilities
  • Uncover and cultivate a deep understanding of the our customers’ requirements essential for modern product managers and their stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product managers to bring clarity into understanding of underlying customer problems.
  • Outline a range of solutions for a given customer or business problem, and bake in and understanding of viability and feasibility with your product team partners.
  • Take a promising solution to its simplest and most efficient form.
  • Join design critiques and product discussions to inform or make decisions, embrace pair-designing for ideation and collaboration with others.
  • Iterate on features with an eye towards business and customer impact.
  • Exhibit great communication skills by effectively translating complex concepts into actionable implications for the business.
About you
  • 5+ years of UX-related work experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Great interaction and visual design skills, with emphasis on interaction design. Ability and empathy to conduct user research and create customer journey maps. Experience with latest design patterns, processes, and tooling (Figma).
  • Portfolio of product experiences that were shipped and made impact on the business and customers.
  • Track record of delivering products with cross-functional teams. Appreciation and understanding of the complex needs of large enterprise organizations is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences, including senior executives internally.
  • Proactive, curious, and independent, with a passion for solving problems, learning, advancing your craft, and driving impact.
What’s in it for you?
  • Be part of building the world’s first and best Product Platform that fundamentally changes how our industry approaches the craft of Product Management.
  • Your customers are going to be the best product teams and minds out there. You will have the opportunity to learn from and advance the work of the best of the best in your field.
  • Be a part of a growing and innovative, mission-driven company, with the opportunity to shape the future of our product and customer experience, and to define an entire new market category.
  • Collaborate with a talented and passionate team, dedicated to making products that matter, together.
You can look forward to the following benefits:

Budget for online courses, books, and conferences
