Job description

About us

At Jigsaw, we’re on a mission to transform the way professional services and financial institutions work. We do this by helping our clients organise, visualise and use their data (think Figma or Canvas but for the ‘City’). Our clients include the world’s biggest consultancies, leading financial institutions and top law firms.

Jigsaw was founded by two seasoned entrepreneurs, Stephen and Travis. This is their second venture together; their first was acquired by a US private equity firm and went on to become a billion-dollar company and a household name in professional service firms across the world. Jigsaw is now on a growth trajectory few Series A companies achieve - putting us in the top quartile SaaS companies globally. Today we proudly serve thousands of users from nearly twohundred businesses worldwide, who love our products and use them everyday.

But we’re only getting started! We have ambitious goals and we’re looking for talented people to help us achieve them.

Why join us?

We're not about the corporate grind; instead, we thrive on creativity, enthusiasm, and a touch of humour to make magic happen.

We hire people with high ownership and a bias for action. Then we trust and empower them to do their best work.

The role

This is not just a job. If you are motivated, enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and would like to be part of the technology revolution, we’d like you to join us on our journey.

Jigsaw is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in shaping the user interface and user experience of our design tool, ensuring that legal, accounting and other professionals can efficiently visualise complex legal structures, processes, and relationships.

You'll get to...
  • Advocate for user needs and translate them into elegant, user-friendly designs that simplify complex legal concepts.
  • Develop intuitive and efficient user interactions, wireframes, and prototypes to guide the development team in implementing design solutions.
  • Create visually appealing, consistent, and accessible user interfaces that align with Jigsaw's design language and brand identity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to gather insights, define requirements, and ensure design feasibility.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare design specifications, style guides, and design assets to support development efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and legal tech advancements to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.
You'll thrive in this role if...
  • You have 5+ years of professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and user-centric design solutions.
  • You are proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts through design.
  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
  • You have a good understanding of accessibility and UX best practices.
  • You know the legal industry or you have experience designing for a specialised domain (this would be a plus; not required)
