Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist to help build the bank of the future and boost user engagement in 2025. You will work in cross-functional squads, applying quantitative analysis and real-time analytics to inform product decisions and improve engagement.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers and marketers to measure what matters, run large-scale A/B tests, and drive understanding of lifetime value and profitability across features.

Qualifications

• Strong background in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to inform product strategy.
• Experience guiding product teams to measure what matters and to run experiments.
• Proven experience with large-scale A/B testing and data-driven decision making.
• Proficient in SQL; Python experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply quantitative analysis, data mining and data storytelling to understand user interactions and inform product strategy.
• Partner with product squads to design and measure success metrics; lead A/B experiments.
• Collaborate with finance to quantify lifetime value and profitability effects of features.
• Work with engineers to ensure correct data collection and relevant insights for stakeholders.
