Overview

Senior Product Compliance Manager

Up to £50,000 + Package

I'm working with a leading UK retailer who are looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Compliance Manager to join their head office team.

This is a key role ensuring that products are safe, legally compliant, and meet the highest quality standards. You'll take the lead on vendor compliance, product testing, and risk management while working closely with suppliers, test labs, and UK Government authorities.

The Role
  • Lead on product compliance, quality assurance and risk management.
  • Manage supplier SEDEX compliance and ethical/environmental standards.
  • Own relationships with test labs, audit houses, and compliance partners.
  • Oversee product recalls and quality issues, ensuring robust processes are followed.
  • Keep policies and due diligence processes up to date with UK/EU legislation.
  • Report on compliance, regulatory changes, and key product issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sustainability, documentation and testing.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong background in product compliance and quality management.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK & EU testing requirements (UKCA essential).
  • Experience with SEDEX processes and vendor compliance.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in leading recalls/withdrawals.
  • Retail sector experience preferred.
