Job description

Company Description

At Wise, our mission is to achieve "Money Without Borders" — making financial transactions fast, convenient, transparent, and eventually free. Millions of people around the world use Wise to send, spend, hold, and receive money across multiple currencies.

Job Description

Our mission:

Wise Platform takes all of the world-class payments products Wise has built over the last 15 years and enables hundreds of millions of consumers and businesses to access them in the places where they already move and manage their money - with banks, fintechs and online platforms.

Our partners already make up some of the world’s leading banks and platforms, such as Monzo, Morgan Stanely, Nubank and Google. And, we’re just getting started!

The role:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Analytics Manager [AL2] to spearhead growth in our Bank Products vertical. It’s a role that will allow you to have a big impact from day one! You will be at the forefront of growth at Wise, leading one of the newest and fastest growing product lines - earmarked as one of the biggest growth opportunities for the business. You will be working closely with colleagues from sales, product, engineering and more to launch products with some of the largest banks and fintechs in the world

As part of the vertical leadership team you will shape the priorities of the team, building conviction through your insights and analysis. This role will require you to be hands-on and develop a deep understanding of our products and opportunity areas - with scope to scale the team soon after joining (currently with 1 direct report).

You will work on answering questions such as:

  • Where are our biggest growth and commercial opportunities?

  • Who should we be selling our products and solutions to? And, how can we position our products to capture prospects' attention?

  • What products should we be building and/or improving to unlock growth?

  • What can we do to reduce time to revenue and ensure partners scale effectively?

  • How can we reduce friction in the transaction lifecycle and improve our products and solutions?

A bit about you:

  • You are proficient with SQL and know your way around data pipeline management tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Git, Airflow and Python. All analysts at Wise are expected to be full-stack regardless of level and should be comfortable owning analytics from ingestion to insights.

  • You have experience working in payments (preferably) or are excited about building an expert understanding of our bank products and solutions, as well as those of our competitors.

  • You have experience working in a high-growth tech/product environment and have ideally worked closely with sales and product teams before.

  • You understand sales cycles (ideally enterprise), are familiar with sales metrics/KPIs and have a good working knowledge of tools like Salesforce or similar.

  • You are commercially minded - comfortable with opportunity sizing, forecasting and scenario modelling.

  • You (preferably) have line management experience, or experience coaching or developing analysts. And, are comfortable working with stakeholders to identify opportunities where analytics can have an impact - turning this into an analytics roadmap.

  • You are solution-oriented and able to own projects from start to finish. You are comfortable motivating stakeholders across Wise and negotiating timelines to unblock yourself and make things happen!

  • You’re an expert at crafting dashboards and visualisations that bring data to life, tell a story and have diagnostic power - even better if you’ve got experience doing this in Looker/Superset.

  • You have a strong track record of applying quantitative analysis to see beyond the numbers, generate actionable insights and drive the adoption of your proposed changes by influencing stakeholders.

  • You are an excellent communicator, able to form your own opinions and effectively articulate them to win colleagues round to your way of thinking.

Interview process:

1) Screening call with recruiter - 30 mins

2) Take home Case Study - 7 days to submit

3) Technical Interview - 1.5 hours

4) Stakeholder Interview - 1 hour

5) Final Interview - 1 hour

Preparation material and further context will be provided at each stage.

Some of our benefits:

Base salary of £100k - £125k (based on experience)

RSU's in a growing and public company (£50k new joiner grant, +£25k annual topups)

Work from (almost) anywhere in the world for up to 90 days a year

Flexible working - you’re trusted to do the right thing and be responsible

Private Medical Insurance + Life Insurance

️ Discounted gym memberships and cycle to work scheme

️ A paid 6-week sabbatical leave after four years

26 weeks maternity leave at full pay

An annual self-development budget

Annual Mission Days festival
