Job summary

News UK is seeking a senior Business Analyst lead within the Times Product Team to drive discovery and shape product strategy across core pillars. You’ll collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to translate complex questions into actionable insights and ensure commercial alignment.

You will report to the Head of Business Analysis, mentor BAs, and help embed templates, AI workflows, and KPI-driven decision making across Content, Monetisation or Customer pillars.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading discovery analysis on complex product initiatives.
• Ability to engage executive stakeholders and frame analysis commercially.
• Experience mentoring Business Analysts and driving higher-value analytics.
• Proven track record in integrating AI workflows into analytical practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery analysis for the pillar's complex initiatives, setting quality benchmarks.
• Define templates, methodologies, and metrics to ensure analytical consistency.
• Mentor Senior BAs and build product thinking and AI fluency within the team.
• Collaborate with Head of Business Analysis to prioritise high-value work.
• Bridge analysis to revenue and outcomes, ensuring a unified product vision.
