Job summary

Harnham in Manchester is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to shape digital product strategy through data. You’ll work with product, engineering, and design to define metrics, build analytics solutions, and improve customer journeys.

You’ll lead experimentation, own data storytelling for senior stakeholders, mentor colleagues, and help scale analytics frameworks across the business. The role offers exposure to large-scale product analytics and high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in consumer-facing digital product environments.
• Analytics to improve customer journeys, product performance, or user engagement.
• Experience leading or supporting experimentation programmes and A/B testing initiatives.
• Knowledge of statistical inference methodologies and experimental design principles.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong Python capability.
• Understanding of product analytics and digital tracking platforms such as Google Analytics or similar tools.
• Experience working within cross-functional product teams.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience influencing decision-makers through evidence-based recommendations.
• Passion for mentoring colleagues and driving analytics best practice.

Responsibilities

• Defining and maintaining key metrics and measurement frameworks for product performance.
• Designing and developing analytics solutions to support product decision-making.
• Driving tracking and measurement improvements to ensure accurate user behaviour analysis.
• Leading experimentation programmes and evaluating the impact of product changes through robust testing methodologies.
• Partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Researchers to support product development.
• Delivering actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders across the business.
• Influencing strategic decisions through data-driven storytelling and analytical expertise.
• Mentoring analysts and championing best practice within the wider analytics community.
• Supporting the development of scalable analytics frameworks and governance standards.
• Planning and prioritising analytical work across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
