Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Senior Product Analyst in London to join the Market Data and Integration team within Risk Analytics. You will design workflows for data ingestion, enrichment, and delivery across Risk Analytics products and services.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, data pipeline experience, and knowledge of market data, pricing data, and data quality. You will work with product, engineering, data, and client-facing teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level product/analyst experience in financial services, market data, or analytics tech.
• Ability to write functional specs, data mappings, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and operational docs.
• Hands-on SQL and Python for data investigation, validation, reconciliation, automation or issue analysis.
• Strong knowledge of market data, pricing data, data quality, lineage and data controls.
• Experience with Agile delivery teams across product, engineering, QA, and client-facing functions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design robust workflows for market data ingestion, enrichment, validation, transformation, integration and delivery.
• Translate business and operational needs into specifications, data mappings, process flows, and release notes.
• Support data pipelines, APIs, integration services, controls, monitoring and automation across workflows.
• Investigate complex data issues using SQL, Python, logs and dashboards; support UAT, testing and production validation.
