Job summary

LADbible Group is seeking a Senior Video Producer to lead commercial social video projects across LADbible brands. You will plan, budget, shoot prep and manage production from pre-production through delivery with the activation team, ensuring timelines and processes are followed.

You'll mentor junior team members and build strong relationships with freelancers and agencies, while keeping production docs, risk assessments and P&L in check in line with brand and ASA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Producer at a production company or publisher – social media experience is a must.
• Ability to lead and inspire junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run commercial social video projects across LADbible brands.

• Participate in calls/meetings with stakeholders to develop concepts.
• Create detailed production schedules, budgets, call sheets and risk assessments.
• Negotiate costs with suppliers and crews.
• Organise resource allocation pre-, during and post-production.
• Proactively report and document insurance-related risks.
• Track production costs and provide reconciliation reports.
• Keep on-set notes for post-shoot handover.
• Mentor junior team members.

About the Role

We are looking for a brilliantly resourceful and proactive Senior Video Producer to join our award winning Commercial team. You will be responsible for planning and running commercial social video projects across LADbible portfolio of brands and channels including LADbible, UNILAD, Betches, SPORTbible and the rest of the group. You will need to have an excellent understanding of brand integration, social media platforms - specifically Facebook, Instagram and TikTok - production legalities and licensing, as well as be up to date with ASA guidelines.

What the opportunity looks like

• Accurately budgeting for video concepts supplied by creative, creative producers and sales

• Manage multiple projects from pre-production to delivery of content to the activation team, ensuring production pipelines are carried out effectively on all projects

• Prepping and attending video shoots, documenting meticulously on and off set info

• Participating in calls/meetings with internal and external stakeholders where concepts and pitches are discussed and developed.

• Drawing up detailed video production schedules, budgets, call sheets and risk assessments for active and potential projects amongst other pre-production paperwork such as PPM documents

• Negotiating costs with suppliers, crews and contractors

• Organising allocation of resource and personnel pre, during and post-production

• Working with insurance companies pro-actively reporting and documenting risk

• Tracking production costs and providing reconciliation reports as requested

• Ensure there are on-set log notes to hand post shoot

• Mentor and work closely with junior members of the team

Skills and experience we’d like you to have

• Experience as a Senior Producer at a production company or publisher - social media experience is a must

• A team leader with the ability to inspire and nurture junior members of the team

• You should be well connected within the industry and already have a healthy talent network (freelance or agency Editors, Directors, VO, Motion Graphics, Casting Producers, Art Directors etc)

• Proficiency in building the entire scope of production docs is essential including; call sheets, schedules, risk assessments and P&L

• Understanding of content from an audience and publisher POV as well as a brand/client POV

• Demonstrable working exposure and knowledge of video pre-production, production and post-production including workflows and processes, equipment and software programs/tool

• Sports & Betting Content experience required.

• ASA guidelines knowledge, especially in gambling.
