Salary: £44,257 - £52,373
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
Commercial and Procurement Services plays a critical role, collaborating across the Council's operations to ensure value for money while balancing costs, citizen and service outcomes, and wider responsibilities such as sustainability, community benefit, fair work practices, and developing a vibrant local economy.
To join our professional and award-winning team, you should have extensive procurement experience and project delivery skills. You will be responsible for engagement, analysis, planning, and delivery of procurement projects. Good organization, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for positive stakeholder engagement.
This environment is fast-moving and challenging, requiring resilience, adaptability, and responsiveness to change. You should recognize the vital role procurement plays in enabling the Council to achieve better outcomes for citizens and the City of Edinburgh.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Learning and Care Procurement Category. Our project pipeline also includes requirements in Construction, Facilities Management, ICT, and Professional Services.
