Job summary

Roche is seeking an insights-driven procurement leader to act as a strategic partner across pRED, gRED and Product Development. You will synthesize business intelligence, spend analytics, and market trends to uncover opportunities and deliver value.

In this role you will translate data into strategic recommendations for senior leaders, collaborate with procurement and analytics teams, and lead enterprise-wide procurement transformations. Fluent English and 7+ years in pharma procurement required.

Qualifications

• University degree required; business or life science degree preferable.
• 7+ years of procurement (multi-category) or relevant sales or customer management leadership experience, ideally in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated experience across the Pharma R&D landscape, including early research environments like pRED/gRED or clinical development.
• Comfortable using data, market intelligence, and business insights to build compelling narratives, test hypotheses, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong proven success building and cultivating collaborative and productive relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Enterprise thinking and ability to create solutions for business customers by fostering collaboration across the procurement network.
• Action-oriented with ability to make decisions and influence others.
• Curiosity, active listening, willingness to experiment, and focus on continuous learning and improvement.
• Open-minded and inclusive, willing to share ideas and knowledge and receptive to feedback.
