We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager – NPD & Projects at Nidec Drives. You will be responsible for the delivery of procurement projects and NPD programs, managing key projects from initiation to delivery, and aligning procurement strategies with business goals.
You will lead your team through project phases, ensure performance standards, and contribute to the strategic direction of procurement and supply chain functions.
Responsibilities include collaborating with global category managers, aligning functional requirements, managing project plans, leading reviews, supporting NPD initiatives, and maintaining KPIs to measure project execution.
Provide leadership for the procurement NPD team, monitor performance, communicate effectively across the organization, and manage regular reviews to ensure plan delivery.
Develop relationships with stakeholders, foster collaboration across departments, and ensure performance against project goals.
Travel to various Nidec locations and suppliers, including international and long-haul trips as needed.
Qualifications include CIPS, a Business Bachelor's Degree, or Project Management certification. Experience in projects or procurement within a production environment, familiarity with electronics and mechanical parts, and project management skills are required.
