Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to drive forward the indirect spend agenda for a leading international business as the Senior Procurement Manager.

My client is a leader in their field operating across global markets with multiple market leading brands. They’ve been on an exciting journey over recent years, and it’s a great opportunity to join this progressive, well-respected organisation.

I’m looking for procurement professionals to manage spend across various indirect and general services. You’ll work closely with the senior management team, developing and managing internal and supplier relationships. Driving all aspects of commercial negotiations, you’ll ensure the best end-to-end deal for the business. You will be responsible for all areas of spend across this multi-site business.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Define, execute, and implement sourcing strategies for direct and indirect services spend across the UK business, delivering value in quality, price, cost, service, innovation, and support.
• Collaborate with other Senior Purchasing Managers to prepare tenders and implement category plans.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve quality or service issues, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Prepare annual budgets for all categories.
• Seek commercial advantages throughout the company and assist budget holders in achieving targets.

You should have a degree or equivalent qualification and substantial indirect procurement experience in a multi-site, FMCG environment. Proven results across various categories and strong stakeholder management skills are essential. Experience with all areas of corporate spend and a category management approach to procurement are required.

Food industry experience would be advantageous.
