Our client is a globally renowned, multi-billion-pound energy & engineering firm seeking an experienced Procurement Professional specializing in both Direct and Indirect procurement to join their expanding team. The role involves devising and executing procurement strategies aligned with the company's strategic goals during a period of transformation.

The Senior Procurement Manager will manage a team of three and oversee all aspects of strategic sourcing, managing key supplier relationships and internal stakeholders to drive best-in-class procurement practices. The company offers a salary range of circa £70,000 - £80,000, a £6,000 car allowance, a 10% bonus, and a hybrid working model based in Surrey, Berkshire, and Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for Direct and Indirect spend, fostering supplier relationships to optimize costs.
• Oversee key supplier relationships, conduct reviews and audits, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance procurement impact and address supplier issues.

Experience Required:

• CIPS or MCIPS qualification; Degree or equivalent.
• Proven procurement experience in Direct, Indirect, Capex, FM, PPE, or Engineering-related procurement.
• Background in industries such as Automotive, Pharma, Energy, Chemicals, Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, etc.
• Experience in end-to-end procurement, operational efficiency improvements, risk reduction, and cost savings.
• Strong stakeholder management, SRM experience, influencing, and communication skills.
• Ability to present to senior leaders and inform decision-making.
• Analytical skills with understanding of commercial and contractual risks.
• Experience working in a matrix environment, handling complexity and ambiguity.
• Self-motivated, organized, and adept at complex problem-solving.
