Senior Procurement Manager - 12 Month FTC (with potential to go permanent)

Bristol or Exeter - Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a leading organisation during a pivotal period of transformation. This role offers to take ownership of high-value procurement projects across a range of indirect categories while driving best practice and compliance in a regulated environment.

The successful candidate will shape procurement strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. With major change underway, this is a chance to influence stakeholders at the highest level, bring new ideas to the table, and help embed a culture of procurement excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activity across multiple indirect categories
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, influencing at senior levels to embed procurement best practice during a period of change
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including exposure to PA23 / public sector frameworks
  • Drive commercial value through sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Support transformation initiatives, helping to modernise and elevate the procurement function
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
  • Strong track record in indirect procurement within a regulated industry (public sector experience advantageous)
  • Solid understanding of procurement regulations and frameworks, with exposure to PA23 highly desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the gravitas to engage senior business leaders
  • Commercially astute with proven ability to deliver savings, value, and innovation through procurement strategies
  • Proactive, adaptable, and motivated by the opportunity to make an impact during a period of transformation
