Job description

TXM are supporting a leading infrastructure client in their search for Senior Procurement Managers to join their commercial team. Multiple opportunities are available across the UK.

This role will see you lead procurement and contracting activities across a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring value for money, strong supplier relationships, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. You'll develop procurement strategies, manage tendering and negotiations, and play a key role in supplier performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver procurement strategies across a portfolio of contracts
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activity including tendering, negotiation, and contract award
  • Provide procurement advice and influence supply chain strategies
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships aligned to business objectives
  • Identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities
  • Oversee supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Strong procurement and contracts background with proven negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of procurement legislation and supplier markets
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on value for money
Desirable
  • Degree level education and/or professional membership (CIPS or equivalent)
