Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in London seeks a Senior Procurement Manager to establish procurement expertise within the London Procurement & Commercial team. You will advise clients, lead sourcing activities and shape procurement strategies while promoting best practice and delivering value across complex programmes.

The role focuses on client-facing delivery across public and private sectors, with flexible/ hybrid working options and opportunities for professional development within a global engineering

Qualifications

• Degree qualified, with MCIPs membership or working towards MCIPs
• Experience delivering procurement activities across major programmes and complex infrastructure environments (utilities, transport, energy, defence)
• Ability to work in a client-facing environment with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions
• Experience developing procurement strategies, defining requirements, leading sourcing and tendering, mobilising contracts and driving value via supplier and contract management
• Experience or knowledge of NEC, JTC or FIDIC contracts and understanding contractual/commercial risks
• Experience across end-to-end procurement lifecycle with ability to handle complex procurements for client strategic projects
• Strong commercial awareness to support procurement objectives and enhance organisational capability
• Experience or desire to drive business development including client relationships, opportunity identification and bid writing
• Experience in both public and private sectors; knowledge of Public Sector Regulations 2015, Utilities Regulations 2016 and Procurement Act 2023
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and management skills

Responsibilities

• Advise and deliver a broad range of procurement and commercial requirements for clients
• Shape procurement strategies and lead sourcing activities, including supplier relationship management

• Help clients achieve maximum value from their supply chain while delivering sustainable commercial outcomes
• Collaborate with clients and their supply chain partners to develop and deliver solutions to complex problems
• Work with clients across public and private sectors to share knowledge and expertise
