Hollybank Trustees Ltd based in Houghton Regis is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage packaging and aggregate materials across its bagging plants. You will focus on quality, value for money and continuous supply to support growth.

In this fast-paced role you will drive cost-saving initiatives, build strong supplier relationships, monitor market trends and provide insights to senior management while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement experience in aggregates and construction materials.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing projects.
• Excellent analytical and financial awareness.

Responsabilités

• Procurement of empty packaging and aggregate for all bagging plants.
• Identify cost-saving sourcing initiatives.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships.
• Maintain accurate procurement records.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure value for money.
• Secure long-term supply arrangements.
• Conduct supplier reviews and performance evaluations.
• Monitor market pricing and trends.
• Provide market intelligence to senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and margin improvement.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and health and safety.
