A leading consultancy is looking for a Senior Procurement Consultant to join their growing Glasgow team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of major procurement programmes across the energy, construction, and engineering sectors—shaping projects that support national infrastructure and net-zero targets.

As a procurement specialist, you’ll support the end-to-end delivery of complex procurement exercises for public and private sector clients, with a focus on NEC-based contracts and regulated public procurement routes.

Senior Procurement Consultant, Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement workstreams on large-scale programmes
• Develop procurement strategies that align with business needs and occasionally public sector frameworks
• Advise clients on NEC procurement approaches and contract execution
• Collaborate with legal, commercial, and technical teams throughout the procurement lifecycle
• Contribute to procurement best practice, innovation, and delivery excellence
• Support junior team members in developing procurement capabilities

Senior Procurement Consultant, What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in procurement within energy, construction, or engineering
• Experience of NEC contracts and public sector procurement processes (e.g. UCR, PCR)
• Confident in delivering procurement strategy and managing supplier engagement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• MCIPS or working towards professional procurement accreditation preferred
