Senior Procurement Consultant - Leading UK Specialist firm hiring in London with hybrid / flexi working for their Capital Project team

Salary £50-75k + package

This leading global consulting firm, with over 3,000 employees in the UK and ranked amount the top 200 employers, is looking to hire across their procurement consulting divisions after a period of extended growth.

This organisation is dynamic, innovative and client focussed, offering a suite of services within procurement across the full life-cycle of procurement, sourcing and contract management. You will be working on a range of major capital programmes, including projects in rail, infrastructure and energy, all of which you have the ability to make tangible impacts with your work.

Given the nature of the consulting programmes, no prior consulting experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to make their move into consulting for the first time.

Key role requirements:

  • Lead procurement engagements across a range of projects and commissions, helping your clients move towards more sustainable and reliable solutions
  • Look to challenge yourself in new environments, looking to meet targets and deliver for your clients and teams
  • Look to learn and develop a well-rounded skillset that helps you push through multiple promotions and into key internal leadership roles across the business

Key procurement experience and capabilities required for these roles:

  • Must have experience supporting or leading within strategic procurement environments, coupled with a strong background across a range of sectors, ideally encompassing both public and private sectors
  • Knowledge and understanding of NEC & JCT construction contracts
  • Degree level education or equivalent is however not essential
