The successful Senior Procurement Consultant will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services for key water, power, and renewables clients.

The team includes specialists in procurement and contract strategy, claims management, and dispute resolution services.

Opportunities for national and international travel to service and manage key commissions for the employer’s blue-chip client portfolio are available.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fulfilling the responsibilities of a Senior Procurement and Contracts Consultant
  • Providing specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
  • Managing end-to-end procurement services
  • Supporting the development of procurement services
  • Supporting business development and marketing efforts
  • Contributing to team and business targets
  • Assisting in bid preparation, proposal documentation, and work-winning efforts

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong background across the procurement lifecycle, including strategy development, tender preparation, and development
  • Experience with various contract forms, especially NEC and JCT
  • Experience providing procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
  • Contract management skills
  • Knowledge of public and utilities contract regulations procurement
  • Experience in contract drafting, negotiations, and awards

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, Procurement, or related field, or equivalent; MCIPS qualification is preferred
