Job Description:

The successful Senior Procurement Consultant will work alongside a highly skilled team delivering strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services for key water, power, and renewables clients.

The team includes specialists in procurement strategy, claims management, and dispute resolution. There are opportunities for national and international travel to service and manage key projects for a blue-chip client portfolio.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement services.
  • Support the development of the procurement services department.
  • Contribute to team and business targets.
  • Assist in bid preparation, proposal documentation, and work-winning activities.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong background in procurement lifecycle, including strategy, tendering, and development.
  • Experience with various contracts, especially NEC and JCT.
  • Experience advising public and private sector clients on procurement strategy.
  • Knowledge of contract management and public/utilities procurement regulations.
  • Skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and award.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, Procurement, or related field, or MCIPS qualification preferred.
