Job summary

Newcastle United FC is seeking an experienced Procurement Senior Buyer to support the continued development of our procurement function. You will work closely with the Head of Procurement to deliver strategic and operational procurement, ensuring value for money and driving efficiencies across the Club.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement across indirect spend categories and driving value.
• Ability to manage complex procurement exercises and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activity across Opex and Capex spend to maximise value.
• Manage supplier selection, due diligence, tenders and contract negotiations.
• Drive supplier performance and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop procurement systems, processes and reporting for efficiency and compliance.
• Build relationships with budget holders, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Deliver measurable cost savings and value-added benefits while maintaining quality.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and sustainability.
• Support procurement training and embed best practices across the organisation.
