Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Senior Process Technologist for Matthew Walker site in Heanor to join the New Product Development team. You will create precise internal specifications and support product transitions from concept to launch, driving process improvements across the factory.

You will report to the R&D Manager (Process) and manage trials, QA documentation, and data logging to ensure on-time project delivery with rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a food manufacturing environment would be desirable.
• Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related discipline.
• All round computer skills – Excel, Word, PP.

Responsibilities

• Lead factory scale-up trials and coordinate new recipes and materials.
• Complete factory trial reports and handover information for production.
• Run CI projects to improve site processes and product quality.
• Coordinate organoleptic testing, microbiological and nutritional assessments.
• Support post-launch production and resolve day-to-day process issues.
