Job summary

Valeo Foods UK, at the Matthew Walker site in Heanor, is seeking a Senior Process Technologist to join the New Product Development team. You will create accurate internal product specifications, support transfer from concept to launch, and drive process improvements across the factory.

Reporting to the Senior Process Technologist, you’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimise recipes, ingredients and packaging, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance while supporting

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a food manufacturing environment would be desirable.
• Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related discipline.
• All round computer skills – Excel, Word, PP.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain internal product specifications.
• Support transfer of products from concept to launch.
• Improve processes across the factory.
• Coordinate factory scale-up trials.
• Support the introduction of new recipes, ingredients and materials.
