My client is currently looking for a Senior Process Technologist. This is a chance to join a very successful, category-leading food business.

In a nutshell:
To manage the conversion of your new product development concepts into factory manufacturability products whist meeting the agreed standards between the supplier, customer and business. Actively seeking new process improvements to improve factory efficiencies & throughputs.
The role:
Your main focus will be to ensure the consistent achievement of process capability as well product key quality attributes for the introduction of new product, technologies and changes to existing products. You will provide expertise of the manufacturing processes and the influence of product changes to performance. You will use your analytical skills to understand tolerances and standard deviations with the ability to spot the patterns in the data.
You will take a lead role in line trials and validation for new products as well as changes to existing ones. Input on process design and development, support with commissioning new equipment and continuous improvement initiatives are also a key part of the role where you will work closely with the engineering and CI teams.
You will also work closely with the technical teams to set best practice for product validation and verification through test method and test equipment.
The candidate:
Degree in food Science / technology or related discipline.
Able to work on own initiative and within a team.
Able to manage factory trials.
Understanding of factory processes.
Knowledge of product profile, quality standards and food manufacturing.
Able to adhere to and improve the NPD process.
