Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Process Technician Senior Coordinator to manage processing of refined extract and intermediates in a GMP/compliant environment. The role involves initiating and checking manufacturing steps, updating batch records, and ensuring cGMP adherence.

You will train new staff, collaborate across production teams, and seek efficiency improvements while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regulated production environment (pharma/chemical/food).
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Able to work independently or in small teams.
• Positive team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to challenge norms and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities

• Process refined extract and intermediates per defined GMP procedures.
• Maintain safety, report hazards, and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Manufacture according to cGMP standards as Initiator and Checker.
• Prepare and update batch docs, SOPs, and forms.
• Complete quality docs: Deviations, CAPAs, Protocols, Change Controls.
• Be flexible with hours to cover overruns.
• Collaborate across Production Departments after training.
• Train new starters in BDS processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and cost reductions.
• Notify line management of deviations immediately.
• Possibly act as BDS Dept H&S representative.
• May handle consumable and QC ordering.
