Job Description

Join our team of talented Renewable Energy professionals working on innovative projects in the energy sector, focusing on process safety, engineering delivery, and management in areas like hydrogen, green chemicals, carbon capture, and decarbonisation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design and technical advisory services, ensuring compliance with standards and principles.
• Lead process hazard analysis, chair HAZID and HAZOP studies, and review safety studies for compliance.
• Collaborate with Process Safety professionals within AECOM to improve service quality.
• Manage technical deliverables on projects, coordinating with project managers and teams.
• Prepare bids and proposals, including cost estimates.
• Ensure timely and quality engineering outputs in collaboration with project teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers, pursuing new business opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Experience in power generation, industrial processes, CCUS, or future fuels, preferably in consulting.
• Proficiency in process hazard analysis and safety studies.
• Knowledge of process safety regulations like COMAH and ATEX, especially related to Hydrogen.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
