We’re looking for a Senior Process Performance Executive to join our Commercial & Marketing team either working remotely or based in our Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex offices.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity to cover a maternity leave within the team.

In this role you’ll support oversight, governance & continuous improvement of our core business processes across the lifecycle of a policy. You’ll ensure delivery of customer expectations whilst meeting commercial targets and regulatory requirements.

  • An excellent understanding of retail insurance products, the insurance industry and the different distribution channels

Whats involved:

  • Support Process Performance Lead in oversight of core business processes ensuring controls are in place to deliver the best customer and commercial outcomes across the lifecycle of a policy.
  • Lead tactical initiatives across functional teams to deliver new capability or improvements in core business processes.
  • Business lead on strategic projects that support acquisition or persistency or deliver better controls in our core business processes.
  • Support the ongoing governance & continuous improvement of the core business processes across the lifecycle of a policy to ensure they are delivered in accordance with group operational policies and adhere to regulatory guidelines. Supporting the Process Performance Lead in the resolution of any core process issues.
  • Proactively develop new processes and initiatives from concept to commercialisation to ensure customer and commercial outcomes are met.
  • Support Process performance lead in maintaining risk register (as applicable), providing evidence and commentary for controls, updates for mitigating actions and maintaining control matrices and attestations.
  • Support the commercial reporting on core business processes and proactively deal with emerging issues or exploiting opportunities.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Experience

  • Experience of working within a highly regulated environment
  • Understanding of the insurance/financial services industry, its products, and key regulations

  • Numerate and analytical, with the ability to solve problems and distil complex information into clear insight and recommendations
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to make quick confident decisions at a strategic level to move things forward
  • Structured thinking, finding solutions to complex problems and adopting a pragmatic way forward

Knowledge

  • Ideally an excellent understanding of retail insurance products, the insurance industry and the different distribution channels
  • Knowledge of FCA requirements (including Consumer Duty)
  • Experience of subscription-based businesses in other sectors will be considered
