Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Process Engineer or Process Engineer to support water and wastewater operations across UK contracts and new business development. The role requires leading technical activities, driving continuous improvement, and delivering innovative, cost‑effective solutions.

You will oversee process control, provide mentorship to engineers, and collaborate with business development teams while travel across the UK is involved.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or technical subject.
• Strong knowledge of operational water and/or wastewater treatment process control and optimisation.
• Experience with UK water companies.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot operational processes and use modelling to predict performance and build business cases.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences and draft proposals and reports.
• Plan workload autonomously and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, operators and analysts.
• Build Veolia's reputation as a Water Technical Expert through workshops and industry events.
• Embed sustainability to optimise energy, chemical use and resource recovery.
