Senior Process Engineer - Silver Sintering

Our client, a leader in their field, is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join their growing team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve yield or manufacturing efficiency and lead continuous improvement activities.
- Initiate and lead long-term team projects.
- Plan and execute procurement, installation, and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
- Update and produce technical documentation such as operating instructions, inspection standards, and PFMEAs.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers.
- Support production daily operations, troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues promptly.
- Gain and maintain detailed knowledge of the production process and equipment.
- Liaise with customers.
- Support existing product lines and processes throughout their lifecycle.
- Contribute to the execution of the business strategic plan and stay updated on new technologies and opportunities.
- Ensure safe working practices and adherence to health and safety legislation when implementing new products, materials, processes, or equipment.
- Occasional visits to customers or suppliers and potential foreign travel.
Ideal Candidate:
- Understanding and experience with Silver Sintering.
- Experience with die bonding and wire bonding in microelectronic or hybrid manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience as a Technical Engineer.
- Familiarity with electronics & mechanical CAD design (desirable).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and statistical process techniques (desirable).
- Familiarity with Mil standard and high-reliability design environments (desirable).
- Degree/HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
