Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team, delivering high‑performance production processes for semiconductor and high‑tech manufacturing clients.

You will lead design activities, optimize throughput and yield, support FEED and commissioning, conduct HAZOP/LOPA analyses, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver compliant, safe, and cost‑efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience in advanced manufacturing or high-tech sectors.
• Experience with process design tools and safety/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design activities including mass/energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and process modelling.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve throughput, yield, safety and cost efficiency.
• Support FEED, detailed design, commissioning, and start-up activities for advanced facilities.
• Conduct HAZOP/LOPA and ensure compliance with safety directives and regulations.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare technical docs and validation protocols; engage with clients to present design solutions.
