Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join the TAQA contract, providing engineering support across the full lifecycle from studies and FEED to Detailed Design. You will help deliver quality projects to offshore assets’ requirements.

Based in the United Kingdom, this role involves offshore travel and working within the lifecycle integrity framework, adhering to TAQA and Wood standards, and contributing to safety and efficiency across renewables and oil & gas projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering.
• Current Offshore Medical and Survival certification.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards accreditation.
• Sound knowledge of offshore installation functionality.
• Knowledge of lifecycle asset integrity and process safety practices.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment techniques knowledge.
• Understanding of UKCS offshore regime regulations and standards.
• Experience on Studies, FEED and Detailed Design in UK offshore oil & gas.
• Decommissioning support experience in UKCS.
• Willingness to travel offshore.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of professional and personal credibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lifecycle technical integrity and operational risk management of offshore installations.
• Prepare and develop P&ID, Basis of Design, Locked Valve Register, Line List and Operating Manuals.
• Undertake process design work and review work of other engineers.
• Support other disciplines in HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL and related safety reviews.
• Contribute to reviews of supplier quotations and project 3D CAD model.
• Participate in technical meetings with project and asset personnel.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA Management System and relevant regulations.
• Execute process engineering activities within budget and schedule while maintaining design integrity.
