Job description

MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Engineering team with a Senior Process Engineer (Clean Water) for their Central framework. Based at the Hattersley office, you will deliver clean water process design solutions from initial need definition through optioneering, solution development, detail design, and construction/commissioning support. As part of an integrated, multidisciplinary design-delivery team, the role requires a collaborative approach, ensuring effective communication with project teams, supply chain, and client representatives.

The responsibilities include:

1. Develop cost-effective process design solutions that meet specifications, governance procedures, and can be effectively constructed and commissioned.
2. Ensure process solutions can be integrated with existing assets, attending site as needed to assess condition, suitability, and performance.
3. Access client data systems to obtain and analyze process data to support design solutions.
4. Utilize standard designs and practices wherever possible.
5. Develop commissioning and compliance plans.
6. Participate in project, technical, and program meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team.
7. Collaborate with construction staff and supply chain to promote buildability and efficiency.
8. Monitor and control process design changes to maximize cost efficiency.
