Job Description:

MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Engineering team with a Senior Process Engineer (Clean Water) for our Central framework. Based at the Hattersley office, you will deliver clean water process design solutions from initial definition of need through optioneering, solution development, detail design, and construction/commissioning support. As part of an integrated, multidisciplinary design-delivery team, the role will require a collaborative approach ensuring effective communication and engagement with project teams, supply chain, and client engineering/operational representatives.

You will report directly to the Design Manager, and your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing process design solutions that are cost-effective, meet the requirements of the specification, governance procedures, and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.

  2. Ensuring process solutions can be effectively integrated with existing assets, attending site as required to establish condition, suitability, and performance of such assets.

  3. Accessing client data systems to obtain and analyze process data to support the above.

  4. Utilizing standard designs and design practices wherever possible.

  5. Developing commissioning and compliance plans.

  6. Working as part of an integrated multidisciplinary design and delivery team, attending and contributing to all relevant project, technical, and program meetings.

  7. Establishing collaborative working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs.

  8. Recording, monitoring, and controlling process design changes to maximize cost efficiency.
