DNV – Technology Centre Groningen is looking for a self-propelling (Senior) Process Engineer to lead and execute projects focused on industrial decarbonization, low carbon fuels, hydrogen, carbon capture & storage, and emission reduction and verification. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the introduction of new clean and renewable technologies and de-risk such for DNV’s clients.
The role requires extensive expertise in gas processing, transport and storage, hydrogen, and carbon capture & storage and safety analyses. The Process Engineer will focus on technology assessment and qualification, with a significant part of the job involving the evaluation of performance under laboratory conditions. The job includes resolving complex technical issues, developing test setups, and conducting tests under dynamic and realistic conditions. Additionally, the role involves advisory (including reporting) work at a high level of competence and experience. Regular client contact, travel to site visits, meetings, conferences, and other off-site events are integral to this position.

Finally, the Process Engineer shall support an excellent operation of the Technology Centre Groningen test services.
This position will be based in Groningen (the Netherlands) at the Technology Centre located at the vibrant Zernike campus.
