Role Overview:

Seeking a Process Engineer with knowledge of industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering. Responsible for product/process development from inception to first article approval, utilizing standard and rapid prototyping manufacturing processes. Familiarity with DS/SX - Direct Solidification and Single Crystal or Equiax Casting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and refine processes and SOPs to optimize efficiency and ensure customer compliance.
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve workflows and product quality.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve production challenges.
  • Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct quality assurance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Support new product development with efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Manage projects to enhance capabilities, reduce costs, and improve performance.
  • Maintain documentation and report progress to management.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and work-life balance.

Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of mechanical, industrial, materials science engineering, and investment casting technology.
  • Understanding of ceramic materials and high-temperature behavior.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering.
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards like AS9100 or NADCAP.
  • Process control and SPC knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
