Job description

Anderselite is currently hiring a Senior Process Engineer based in Midlands, UK

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Design Manager to deliver design works across the Midlands for public and private sector clients.
  2. Assist the Tendering Department by producing high-quality tender submissions by set deadlines.
  3. Develop process design deliverables for various project stages, including process selection, calculations, P&ID, PFD development, mass balance, system description, and control philosophy.
  4. Support the commercial/estimating team in developing CAPEX and OPEX models.
  5. Review and develop tender/preliminary and detailed designs, proposing value engineering measures.
  6. Conduct site visits to municipal and private-sector water treatment plants, producing assessment reports with recommendations and cost estimates.
  7. Create Drinking Water Safety Plans (DWSP) following WHO standards, assessing risks from catchment to point of use.
  8. Review proposed designs for future O&M considerations and participate in HAZOP studies.
  9. Manage time effectively to complete work within timelines and budgets.
  10. Provide technical process support to the O&M Department, including testing, audits, and process improvements.
  11. Assist in testing and commissioning water and wastewater treatment plants.
  12. Support the Commercial Department with O&M commercial and contractual matters.
  13. Work flexibly across project locations with travel as needed.
  14. Mentor junior engineers, scientists, technicians, and designers.

About You - Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
  2. At least 8 years of experience in process design or equivalent.
  3. Proven experience in delivering technical designs across process, civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 2D/3D CAD software.
