Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

An industry-leading client based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation products and systems.

The Senior Process Engineer will report to the Head of NPI and will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of advanced manufacturing processes, including wafer processing, MEMS, and microfabrication processes such as hybrid micro-electronics. These responsibilities will encompass both new product introduction projects and the sustainment of current production lines.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Lead development and optimization of wafer processing technologies such as photolithography, dry/wet etching, and wafer bonding.
  • Work with semiconductor manufacturing processes including PVD, CVD, and sputtering.
  • Possess a degree in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Apply failure analysis methodologies and statistical analysis techniques such as SPC.
  • Maintain hands-on technical process knowledge in precision manufacturing.
