Job Description:

CEN Resources is partnering with a successful and growing engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. Due to growth and project awards, our client is hiring a Senior Process Engineer. The company operates within various process industries such as Energy, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. Responsibilities include supporting Lead Process and Process Safety Engineers in all aspects of Process Design across Concept, FEED, and detailed design phases. Develop sizing calculations for process equipment like pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, and reactors. Prepare process equipment and instrument documentation, provide design input for drawings, review and check design documents, and stay updated with standards and software developments. Proficiency in AutoCAD and chemical process simulators is required. Site visits for surveys and meetings, support on process safety deliverables such as HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR, and HAC studies, and preparation of process specifications and drawings are also part of the role.

Qualifications & Skills include a minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, familiarity with process design in chemical plants, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams, and experience with process safety deliverables.
