Job title: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Chilton, UK

As a Senior Process Engineer you'll contribute to JM's mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.

The role:

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:

  1. Lead and execute process engineering design activities, ensuring compliance with JM standards and procedures.
  2. Develop process engineering designs, including pressure relief systems, heat and mass balances, process specifications, P&ID development, and process safety design.
  3. Perform process engineering calculations and participate in technical risk assessments such as Hazard Studies, LoPA, and Area Classification.
  4. Provide process engineering support for site infrastructure, pilot plants, and process development equipment while collaborating with internal teams and offering technical guidance.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
  1. Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
  2. Demonstrable experience in a Process Engineering role
  3. Demonstrable experience of Process Engineering at the pilot scale
  4. Demonstration of customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives
