Job summary

Enisca Browne is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the design team, directing high‑quality process designs for a diverse water and wastewater portfolio. You will oversee technical delivery, guide multidisciplinary teams, and ensure solutions meet regulatory and client requirements.

You will mentor junior engineers, champion innovation, and promote sustainable, cost‑effective treatment solutions while being present in the office/on-site at least three times per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field is required.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or active progress toward it is required.
  • 7–10 years of process engineering experience with water/wastewater sector exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of water quality standards and environmental regulations.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to take a leading role within our Design Team, responsible for planning, directing, and delivering high‑quality process designs across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater treatment projects.

In this position, you will oversee technical delivery, guide multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that all solutions meet rigorous regulatory, environmental, and client requirements. You will collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, regulators, and clients to ensure each project is aligned, efficient, and future‑focused.

Alongside driving technical excellence, you will mentor junior engineers, champion innovation, and promote sustainable, cost‑effective treatment solutions that meet the evolving needs of the water industry.

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office or on site at least 3 times a week.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a technically strong process engineer with proven leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative and sustainable water treatment solutions.

Experience
  • 7–10 years’ process engineering experience, with at least five years in the water or wastewater sector.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex treatment projects across design, testing, and commissioning stages.
  • Strong knowledge of water quality standards, environmental regulations, and industry codes.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Analytical and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and committed to sustainability and best practice.
  • Collaborative team player with sound technical judgement and problem‑solving skills.
  • In‑depth understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies, processes, and equipment.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or active progress toward it.
