Job Description

Join our successful Private Markets Investment Solutions Team as a Senior Private Markets Investment Specialist. You will drive the origination, design, and delivery of new business projects for the Private Markets platform, focusing on key growth areas such as Energy Transition, Impact Investing, Living, and Emerging Private Market sectors. This dynamic and expanding team offers several newly created roles for candidates with diverse experience and backgrounds. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and achieving the ambitious growth targets for Legal & General Investment Management’s Private Markets business in 2024 and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage an extensive external network to generate innovative ideas, market intelligence, and opportunities.
  • Lead the delivery of strategic new business projects to expand LGIM’s Private Markets.
  • Present new business proposals to strategic investors and internal stakeholders.
  • Assess and prioritize new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate business proposals and presentations for new initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with LGIM’s product and distribution teams to support strategic growth projects.
  • Contribute to business planning and project prioritization.
  • Support distribution efforts with the Sales Team to grow AUM and revenue streams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or private equity sectors, preferably in client-facing or investment roles.
  • Passion for growth projects within private markets.
  • Strong persuasive writing, business case development, and presentation skills.
  • Positive attitude with problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Organized, versatile, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to connect with team members, fund managers, and senior management.
